GARDEN COACHING

Discover your garden’s potential.

Your garden doesn’t need more—it needs the right things.

At first glance, some gardens seem to have everything just right. Quality materials, beautiful plants, well-kept lawns, perhaps a pool, a patio and mature trees. Many things have been added and designed over the years. And yet, sometimes there’s still that hard-to-explain feeling: It’s lovely here—but somehow it doesn’t quite feel complete.

That’s exactly where my garden coaching begins.

I don’t come to tell you which plant to buy next or which corner to redesign. First, I’m interested in something else: Why doesn’t this garden, despite all its quality, yet feel the way you’d like it to?

A garden can look perfect—and still have no soul

I often find that a garden doesn’t fall short because too little has been invested. Quite often, the opposite is true. Over the years, different areas have taken shape, decisions have been made, plants added and quality features acquired.

Each element may be good on its own. It’s the balance between them that’s missing.

The property lacks a clear sense of order. One spot feels lost. Some areas go almost unnoticed. Others feel strangely empty despite their attractive design. And sometimes, all that’s missing is that one moment when you think: Yes. This is exactly right.

I see your garden through different eyes

When I step onto a property, I naturally look at the plants, paths, materials, proportions and sightlines. But there is more to it than that.

I sense a place intuitively.

I am guided in my work. Again and again, I form very clear inner pictures of what a garden needs. I see how things connect before I can explain them rationally. I sense where something is out of balance, where a spot needs calm, where energy is lacking—and where something special is already there, just waiting to be revealed.

To me, every property has its own order. I call it divine order.

It cannot be forced or copied from a garden catalogue. Instead, I seek to sense it and bring it to light together with you.

You don't necessarily need a new garden

Perhaps you don't need a major renovation at all.

That is an important part of my approach.

I don't come with the aim of questioning as much of what already exists as possible. An old tree, a wall, a path or a seating area may have qualities worth preserving. Often, a few well-considered changes are all it takes to bring together many good individual elements into a harmonious whole.

Perhaps a sightline needs to be opened up. Perhaps an area needs more calm. Perhaps it needs a counterbalance. Or a focal point to give the whole property a sense of direction.

I'm not interested in how much can be changed.

I'm interested in which change will achieve the desired effect.

For people who trust their own instincts

My garden coaching isn’t for people looking for a quick list of the ten latest garden trends.

I most enjoy working with people who have already created a lot and know that quality rarely comes from standard solutions. People who are ready to see their garden not just as a landscaped outdoor space, but as part of their living environment and personal surroundings.

You don’t need to know yet what your garden is missing.

That’s exactly what I’m here for.

I bring together design, experience, intuition and an awareness of a place’s energetic quality. The result isn’t an off-the-shelf solution, but a sense of exactly what this garden needs.

Your garden should never look like mine—this isn’t about me.

When gardens and people find harmony again

That is the real goal of my work.

Not simply a garden that looks even more perfect afterwards. Rather, a property whose design, atmosphere and energy reflect the people who live there.

That is when something takes shape that photographs can only partly capture.

You step outside and realize you want to stay. You discover places anew. You feel calm, strength or a sense of connection, without needing to explain why. And eventually, that old feeling that something is still missing from the garden fades away.

The garden is not simply finished.

It is in harmony with you.

How does garden coaching work?

Garden coaching grew out of who I am. It is my divine calling to bring gardens around the world back to life, bring them into order and restore their balance. I spent 23 years honing my perception to reach this point. I know deep down what my purpose on this earth is. What I offer you is unique.

We walk through the garden. I take the time to listen to your impressions and needs. Then I let your garden speak to me on its own. I first absorb all the impressions like a sponge. Experience tells me that things then move quickly, and I receive the first images in my mind. I carefully review what I perceive, sometimes several times, until I have a clear, complete picture and everything is in order.

We then walk through the garden together once more. I explain, step by step, what I’ve seen: which areas of the garden need attention, what should change, and what elements are needed to enhance it, so your garden can reach its full potential and become the welcoming space you dream of.

Afterwards, I record everything on video and go through each step again, making sure nothing is left out or lost. On my way home, something else may come to me. I’ll send that along with the video, and any images that might help illustrate things more clearly.

There’s one more important point to mention. In my experience, the overall picture is so detailed that it amounts to a preliminary design. In other words, everything is in place, apart from a few small details.

Garden coaching is for private gardens, villa gardens, business grounds, public parks, hotels and wellness centres.

What my garden coaching clients say:

From the vision to the finished garden

But our journey doesn’t end here.

A vision is only worthwhile if it’s brought to life with the quality it deserves. That’s why, if you wish, I can also guide you through the implementation.

I find the right people for each task and put together the team your project needs. Not just any landscaper, tradesperson or specialist, but people whose skills suit the task and whose approach is right for the project.

Then I bring these different talents together.

I see my role a little like that of a conductor: each person involved plays their instrument. My job is to make sure that, in the end, we don’t simply have a collection of good individual performances, but that they come together as a harmonious whole.

I keep the original vision in sight, guide decisions, coordinate everyone involved and ensure that quality isn’t lost between idea and execution.

So you don’t have to become the project manager of your own garden.

You can remain the client.
