I have been building clay ovens for the garden for 20 years. I gave oven building courses for more than 17 years and over time I noticed that the built roofing, the clay oven needs weather protection, is functional, but visually does not really match the beautiful, organic shape of the oven. In addition, my skills and construction became more and more perfect and at the same time the demands on myself increased.
This drove me to develop the best and highest quality outdoor heater that is also a beautiful design element and has the potential to conquer the world.
In Tizian Burgener (Formraum), a metalworker from Steffisburg, I found a master of his trade who knew how to implement my ideas perfectly.
The Wegelin stove is available in two versions, Luna and Cielo, and in three sizes:

This pizza oven / wood-fired oven only needs a solid base the size of the base, 30 cm of compacted gravel is enough. The delivery is made by me personally (within Switzerland) and is included. The unloading of the furnace is to be organized by the customer. As soon as the stove is in place, which usually doesn't take long, it is fired up for the first time. We bake the first pizzas together for the inauguration. I can teach them how to use the oven and pass on tips and tricks for baking pizza and bread. There is enough time to answer open questions and to fully enjoy the first enjoyable hours with the Wegelin stove in a convivial atmosphere.

The breads for the guests are baked fresh every day in the WegelinOfen.

The further development of the Wegelin stove with great attention to detail is naturally part of the constant and sustainable process. I love new challenges and offer a solution for every individual request.
The special thing about the Wegelin stove is that it doesn't need a chimney. The advantage of this is that the furnace is evenly and completely flowed through. The fire burns slowly, allowing the heat to be optimally distributed. This saves firewood and only 10 kg of hardwood is needed to bring it to the optimum temperature for baking pizza or tarte flambée. The baking time is then 2 to 3 minutes.
The clay oven inside alone weighs around 650 kg in the middle size, the el clásico. This is the critical storage mass that most pizza ovens on the market lack. This stored heat can be used to bake everything that the heart or the palate desires and that can be prepared in an oven. For this you need the stand door with an integrated thermometer in order to be able to cook bread, braided meat, stews, roasts, stews, slow-cooked and smoked. With the optional swivel grill, you can even grill in the Wegelin oven, thanks to the intensive radiation we are in the range of a Beefer.
The Wegelin oven with its typical radiation behavior has a particularly positive effect on the baked goods. It energizes the food so that everything from the Wegelin oven tastes fantastic and people keep raving about it. « Never had such good pizza!» one often hears that this is also part of the Wegelin stove.
A Wegelin stove lasts forever, is an heirloom, so to speak. The clay oven is optimally protected against all weather influences and can be used without restrictions at any time of the year and in any weather.
Further advantages of the Wegelin stove are that it is absolutely safe for small children, because the hemisphere remains cold at the bottom. The heat radiation of the upper hemisphere is also low,
The optional lock that allows the Wegelin stove to be locked is a sought-after solution to protect it, especially in public spaces.
For materialisation: steel ball or steel hemisphere outside/chrome steel inside/clay oven with fireclay baking surface.
If desired, the Wegelin stove can be coated with a thermal paint.
